The department of Computer Science was established in the year 1997 and offers undergraduate course together with postgraduate course from 2014. The department strives to foster the academic and intellectual skills of students to be effective problem-solvers remodelling the society ethically into a technologically globalised environment bounded with social values. The department has well qualified, skilled and steadfast faculty to transform students into eminent creative personalities with technological expertise.

The Department Infrastructure is well equipped to meet the academic requirements and also to train students on the latest technology in the industry. The students are motivated towards investigating on facts systematically leading to contributions in research areas. The students are moulded with multi-faceted skill sets to enhance their potential towards the industry requirements. The emphasis is also on the growth of practical knowledge through projects and research. The department motivates the students to establish their career through placements organized in and off campus. The support provided by the large alumni group of the department enables the student to gain self-confidence and reach prominent positions.

This accelerates the potential of the students and they are encouraged to take up projects and find solutions to global challenges.
