Silk Mark and Silk Technology

The Department of Zoology organized a workshop on "Silk Mark and Silk Technology" on 25th August 2025 at 9.30am. The resource person was Mr. P C Johny, Silk Mark Executive , Central Silk Board, Palakkad. The workshop provided the knowledge on Culture of silkworm, industrial process of silk reeling, quality of silk varieties and silk mark. It also enlightened the students on the value added products and by products of sericulture industry.
