ACHIEVEMENTS:

  • Monitoring Personal care – Each undergraduate class is assigned with two tutors, who meet the students individually twice every semester. It serves as a platform for the students to share their personal views and for the tutors to motivate the students for their intellectual growth.
  • Bridge Course for first year students - The Department conducts a Bridge Course to train non-Computer students of different levels on the basics of Computers. It provides them adequate knowledge for their forthcoming higher education. Bridge course is conducted by the final year students in the beginning of the academic year.
  • Departmental Competitions: Every year a Quiz competition is conducted for the I and II year students by the III year students. Whereas a Model / Paper Presentation competition is conducted for the final year students.
  • Guest Lectures and Association meetings are conducted regularly, which gives in-depth subject knowledge to the students.
  • Conducting various competitions every year to bring out the inherent skills of students such as originality, creativity, team spirit, individuality etc through mathematics association.
  • Organizing seminars and workshops every year that unfold various trend and degree of Mathematics.
  • Reaching out to the society through community oriented programmes.
  • Enriching the learning experiences through Industrial visits/ Educational Tours.

  • They are Eligible to take their PG degree as M.Sc Maths , M.Sc Statistics, MCA, MBA etc.,
