INCEPTION
The Department was established in the year 2005 with the aim of inculcating an interdisciplinary knowledge in the field of Mathematics and Computer Applications.


ACHIEVEMENTS:

  • Monitoring Personal care – Each undergraduate class is assigned with two tutors, who meet the students individually twice every semester. It serves as a platform for the students to share their personal views and for the tutors to motivate the students for their intellectual growth.
  • Bridge Course for first year students - The Department conducts a Bridge Course to train non-Computer students of different levels on the basics of Computers. It provides them adequate knowledge for their forthcoming higher education. Bridge course is conducted by the final year students in the beginning of the academic year.
  • Departmental Competitions: Every year a Quiz competition is conducted for the I and II year students by the III year students. Whereas a Model / Paper Presentation competition is conducted for the final year students.
  • Educational Trips and Industrial visits : To impart practical knowledge and also to enhance the in the subject.
