A glorious moment for me to pen on my Alma mater.Nirmala College for Women where I have spent three treasured years.I view my College as the leading temple of Caring and Sharing promoting women education for decades.The Institution is keen on imparting quality eduction with good intra and interpersonal skills. As a Nirmalite both in ( School and College),my teachers have fine tuned me with good life skills and language skills to lead my life with high personal and Professional Front .I have proved myself strong and self defensive in various situations of my life overcoming fears and shortcomings.

I remember my Alma Mater as my nurturer, my haven, a place I called my own for 15 years. which even after so many of its existence still stands rock-solid to its motto, ‘Knowledge Purifies” “Charity Enhances”. Every minute activity is still vividly sketched in my memory. My sincere gratitude to the Institution for providing me a fantastic opportunity to serve student community..

My achievements and accomplishments in my rewarding career as a Professor of English in a Government college stands as a tangible evidence of the efforts of my teachers I have accomplished many tasks gaining accolades wherever I go.As a rich profile academician, I have published twenty three books and fifty six papers in reputed books and journals. • The answer is undoubtedly the 5 years I spent at Nirmala College for Women. I studied UG and PG Mathematics, not knowing I was studying and preparing for life in its entirety.
• I stood in the 1st and 2nd year college elections, participated in every possible drama, dance, interdepartmental and inter-collegiate event. I also aced academics, toping university in PG. I learnt how to visualize creative ideas, how to collaborate with professors for projects, how to negotiate with peers to pitch in for assignments and how to resolve conflicts. As young adults, Nirmala College provided a platform to learn academics, extra-curricular activities and discover ourselves
• Today, in professional life, I use all these learnt skills, on a daily basis. Truly, college life is a microcosm of professional and personal life.

• Nirmala was my dream come true! Having been an introvert, feeling inadequate, doubting my abilities, Nirmala broke the shackles and helped me to evolve into the best version of myself.
• Nirmala provided a level playing field to put my abilities to the test. I tried my hands at everything that caught my eye. I still vividly remember spending hours at the parade ground perfecting every drill, discovering my passion for writing, dancing and running. Nirmala helped me realise that I cannot be put into a box and still pursue my interests with all my heart. It gave me the direction that I needed in life. I carry forward all the values that Nirmala inculcated wherever I go.
• If I get one wish, I would want to revisit my 3 years I spent at Nirmala College! The classrooms, friends, professors who left a lasting impact are the moments that fills my heart with joy!
