In order to equip the requirements of professional industry accreditation in accounting, B.Com (Professional Accounting) was introduced under the wing of B.Com (Computer Application) in the year 2013. It is a field that focuses on the collection, measurement, analysis and communication of information for planning, reporting and decision making. It provides an excellent foundation for accounting-based careers.

VISION

  • To understand the challenges and issues in the business world and the accounting profession at present, as well as to develop the capacity to be an engaged and ethical local and global citizen.

OBJECTIVE

  • To gain the essential accounting and reporting knowledge, and a range of business-related skills in assurance and audit, commercial law, economics, financial management, information systems and statistics.

ACHIEVEMENTS

  • Realizing the imperative need for the research scholars and to meet the requirements for completion of their research work of many universities a modest opportunity is created by the department and for effective citation and review purposes and International Journal was Published for the academic community in the 28.09.2016 by name Journal of Intercontinental Management Research Consortium.
  • To enhance the analytical skills in research and for effective utilization o statistical tools One Day Hands-on Workshop - SPSS was organized by the department on 14.10.2016.
